OFFICE OF SPECIAL COUNSEL CONFIRMS INSPECTOR GENERAL FINDINGS ON FAA WHISTLEBLOWER ALLEGATIONS

On July 22, the Office of Special Counsel released a 2009 Department of Transportation Inspector General report once again confirming serious safety allegations made by an FAA whistleblower in 2005 and 2008. "While we commend this inspector for his continued efforts in bringing forth serious safety concerns and on his commitment to the safety of the flying public, we are appalled that an inspector has to go through such extraordinary efforts to have their concerns validated and addressed," said PASS Region IV Vice President Linda Goodrich.
