Thanksgiving 2017

This Thanksgiving, PASS is thankful for our members and the dedication you show every day as you serve your country. You maintain and protect the largest, safest, most complex aviation system in the world.

During the nation’s busiest travel week of the year, many PASS members are on the job and away from their families. They do it because they are committed public servants working to ensure that those who are taking to the skies reach their loved ones safe and sound.

Let us not forget our brothers and sisters still recovering from the devastating hurricane season in Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. They may still need help through the FAA’s Hurricane Emergency Leave Bank. Please consider a donation, especially if you are faced with ‘use or lose’ leave.

As President Dwight Eisenhower wrote in his Thanksgiving proclamation 60 years ago, “Let the happiness which stems from family reunions on Thanksgiving Day be tempered with compassion and inspired by an active concern for those less fortunate in our own country and in other lands.”

Best wishes to all PASS members and bargaining unit employees for a safe, happy and healthy Thanksgiving—whether around the family table or on the job.

PASS is honored to represent you.
