Chapter TX1 member Kevin Margulies is still in need of donated leave. Brother Kevin is an ATSS and union rep in San Antonio. He has been recovering from Stage IV pancreatic cancer and heart surgery; however, the treatments have not been successful. His last chance for recovery is to undergo treatment at the Williams Cancer Institute that is not covered by insurance. So in addition to leave, the family has set up a fundraiser to help cover the cost of this live-saving treatment. Donate here and please consider also donating unused leave through the VLTP. Members who are interested in helping may submit their donations through the online VLTP intranet site. You must register on the site to do so. To register, please click on “Request Login” on the left and follow the instructions. The system will send you a temporary password and asks to reset after you log in. This program is strictly voluntary and confidential.
Manual submissions must be submitted on FAA Form 3600-18 (02/00), “Federal Aviation Administration Voluntary Leave Transfer Program Donor’s Annual Leave and/or Sick Leave Application (within FAA)”. This form may be downloaded here and is found under “Forms”.
NOTE: Donors must use an FAA computer with intranet access to donate leave. The donation process is not available through the Internet.
