Welcome to the PASS family! We are pleased to announce that employees in the Northwest Mountain Region’s 220 and 230 branches within Flight Standards voted for PASS.
The Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA) counted the ballots and a vast majority selected PASS to be their exclusive representative. Our newest represented employees will be a part of the Aviation Safety (AVS) bargaining unit and enjoy the benefits and rights found in the AVS collective bargaining agreement. The display of perseverance and resoluteness demonstrated by these employees is truly admirable as the election was delayed for nearly a year and half because of the FAA’s attempts to exclude their eligibility. In this regard, Rand Foster, an aviation safety inspector from the Northwest Mountain Region, deserves special recognition as one of the leaders who stepped up and steadfastly remained focus on making this happen. Foster and his colleagues endured the legal battles, maintained patience and ultimately won. Congratulations to all and welcome to PASS!
